...Just Shoot Low !

What is the most important thing for Pro Golfers to do in their Golf Games in order to be successful?

... "Just Shoot Low!"

That was the advice a hugely successful american businessman and potential sponsor offered me in 2002, right as I approached the time for decision and commitment to play professional golf.

"Essentially" he said,
"It is what pro golfers must work at and achieve in their golf games."

Well I had been playing golf since I could walk and my golfing CV contained a some pretty decent experiences and amateur records, so I bit my lip to hide what I was thinking, "...Of course, what genius. Why didn't I think of that!"

But the truth was...

I knew little about how much goes in to the ability to shoot lower scores in all situations and under all "pressures".

As a measure of how profound his statement actually was (although possibly also a reflection of my real intelligence), after 5 years of playing in professional competitions all over the world and particularly in European golf tour events... I feel that I am still in the process of learning what IT takes. There again however, golf does provide us with that challenge every day no matter what level we play at!

Pro golfers need to master the art that is to shoot low because their livelihood depends upon IT.

So what is IT?

More precisely... What mysterious factor that successful pro golfers possess, enables them to consistently get the best from their golf games?

Well, this page is dedicated to what I know about shooting low scores. Over time I'll post several articles and links that I think you'll find of interest and very useful in your quest to shoot low.

Here's some links that will help you on your quest to shoot low...
